As October ends, I sit wondering where it went. We are closing in on completing some projects-in-progress, which has taken up much of my focus and mental energy this fall. There have also been road trips to meetings, conferences and other developmental opportunities. Good stuff that will be helpful as we wrestle with how to operationalize and finance our building and expansion plans.
More on that in the weeks ahead.
And of course, there’s the looming election. I’m trying to stay grounded as that moves past us. Or doesn’t. Who knows?
What I do know is this:
Prosperity doesn’t trickle down, it grows up, from sturdy root stock. It needs care, feeding and tending to produce results. There is no economy of one.
Serving others, lifting up those who need, is what we are here for. It is our mandate as humans.
Choose to keep faith with others who choose to build up, to serve the greater good. It will be rewarded. It always has been.

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.” - Gandhi
