Out with the old…
Cobbler's children no more
“If you want something new, you have to stop doing something old.”
- Peter Drucker
It’s been moving week (phase one), as we emptied out our old retail space and moved into our own digs. Goodbye to no heat, a moonscape parking lot, mold, leaks and paying rent.
Hello to a new model home/office and a construction space that will allow for expansion of our mission and impact.
Hello also to the challenges and pride of homeownership. But we are finally practicing what we preach and happily walking our talk!
We are grateful for the many hands and hearts that support our mission and who came together to make this evolution possible. It’s been a two year process and we have now finally reached the end of the beginning leg of that journey.
Where others seek to demonize, demolish and diminish, we are building hope and community.
We will be dedicating the new facility on November 13, with a more formal community celebration to be held next spring.
Let’s build!

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead
