School’s out
Gone fishing
A fish stinks from the head, the saying goes, even though biologically that’s not true.
Anyway, it’s a been a long year already and my head is feeling stinky.
I’m going on vacation. That means also a vacation from writing, for a bit.
Will be back afterwards with some fresh servings, healthy and nutritious.
A few thoughts to keep you until we return:
“No man is good enough to govern another man without the other’s consent.” -Abraham Lincoln
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead
“Do what you feel in your heart to be right–for you’ll be criticized anyway.” - Eleanor Roosevelt
“If you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing.” - Benjamin Franklin
Here's another thought: "The only thing any of us can do completely on our own is to have the start of a good idea." --Michael Lewis, THE FIFTH RISK
V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N! It's good for the soul!
