It’s been a busy last few weeks work-wise. I’ve been in content-lite mode on these pages as my attention is focused where it’s most needed. We are finalizing our plans for growing our capacity to serve more families, as the housing market continues to be moving against those who have the least. Ironically and tragically, these people are so very important in making our communities diverse, vibrant and economically sustainable. Service to others makes us better people. We must do more for them and, thus, also serve ourselves.
There seems to be another storm heading in. Still, we have strong and deep roots. Let’s keep planted and lean into it.

“It is not light that we need, but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake.” - Frederick Douglass

Watching the short video on John Lewis I just had to wonder what he would think of Marjorie Taylor Greene as one of his fellow Jordan representatives. Yikes!
