That was beautiful, Al. Not sure that I want to replace them all. But I do want us to elect people who believe in what this country--allegedly--was founded on: equality and opportunity for all, speak truth to all, respect for your fellow man, open hearts for immigrants, and--especially--we all do better when we ALL do better.
Probably could have written that a bit more elegantly but the time for that is well past: Let’s replace those who don’t act or those who act to foment...etc.
The time for elegance is past. I'm just spluttering and fuming, trying to figure out how to talk to other people in this post-truth world. Let's replace those whose only act is to block with those who can actually work cooperatively to govern for the good of us all. And don't get me started on the Supreme Court.
